On behalf of the VPFA Executive Board, Welcome to Valhalla!
As the Board, our mission is to assist the Valhalla parents, faculty and staff in providing the best education and environment for our students, through financial, physical and moral support to supplement the resources provided by the MDUSD. it is our goal to support and strengthen Valhalla Elementary, and ensure that every student has the opportunity and support necessary to reach their full potential.
Did you know that as a Parent or Faculty member, you are already a part of the VPFA? By actively participating and volunteering at Valhalla, you will not only become better informed about the school but also contribute positively to our children’s learning and development.
Please consider some of the following ways in which you can take steps toward being an active participant in our school community.
- Review the VPFA Slate and let us know if anything interests you. No experience necessary. Support is available for position and we always welcome volunteers to help with the various events.
- Attend General VPFA Meetings where we look ahead at defining new goals and implementing existing ones. Typically held the 3rd Wednesday of each month, 6:00pm in the Library Annex (check the Calendar ).
- Get Involved and volunteer! Can you share your professional expertise or a hidden talent? Are you available every day, an hour a week, or for a specific event? You are definitely needed! Even if you’re not sure where to help out, email the board and we will help find something that suits your unique talents and availability.
- Make a Financial Contribution! Every dollar counts. We firmly believe that no amount of time or money is too small. Donate here.
